Democrat's Failure to Compromise Cause Failure of Deficit Reduction Supercommittee
Anybody with any intelligence and knows anything about simple economics and history knows that raising taxes on the producers, will only make things worse. Republicans insisted on the responsible solution of cutting taxes and spending. It really is simple and it has worked every time it has been tried.
I am proud that the Republicans on the supercommittee had the courage to stick to their principals and refuse to compromise with the Democrats recipe for failure of a plan. My sincere thank you to every Republican on the committee!
Don't give in to the parasites and looters.

Why I Decided to Not Launch a New Start Up
I am posting this here because I wanted to share a couple of real life reasons why our economy is currently a disaster and unemployment is at record levels. It is important to know who is ultimately responsible.
Without going into too much detail and violating any Confidentiality Agreements I am under, I will give a quick explanation of what we were planning on doing and why we decided not to go forward, at least not until 2012, when Obama is out of office and the Republicans control both the House and Senate.
Our opportunity would be to launch a small company that would initially consist of 10-15 salaried and hourly employees. The business model is sound and the potential investors we visited on the East Coast are very enthusiastic and would normally be willing to invest. The management team (my associates and myself) has a history of strong performance and proven success which gives great comfort to our potential investors.
We were feeling very enthusiastic about the possibility of creating a start up company until we got deeper into the DD and discovered some serious regulatory issues that were recently established by our government - Democrat controlled congress and the Obama Administration. These significant new regulatory requirements along with the uncertainty of any long term stability related to corporate taxes and the confiscatory requirements of Obamacare make it very difficult to justify putting our investor's and our capital at risk at this time. The exercise of doing our DD confirmed to us that the current Federal (Strong), State (mildl) and Local (Missoula strong) political climate is openly hostile to business and the profit motive.
In addition and as an aside, we seriously considered headquartering in Missoula but discounted the that option because of the anti business/corporate sentiment prevalent in the local government and general population, the lack of appropriately skilled and educated work force (we need scientists and engineers), and the below average work ethic (long hours of work at a high performance). Our conclusions are based on our observations over the many years each of us have lived and worked in Missoula.
Had there been a more friendly environment for our business, we would have happily created a company and hired a dozen people with the goal of continued growth in the future. Being honest, my personal and selfish incentive was to generate a lot of wealth for myself but I also would be providing good paying jobs and opportunities for others in addition to ultimately provide an important commodity to the marketplace.
But my associates and I will wait. We know our idea and business model are sound and can be potentially very profitable. We will wait until the climate for business, profits, and success change to being a positive one. I am certain that will be in 2012 when Obama and the Democrats are swept out of office at all levels of government.

Democrats Humiliated in NY9, Wiener's Old House Seat
I better be careful about what I say now. Obama is collecting information on people like me who criticize him. I might end up in an Obama re-education camp if, God forbid, he is re-elected.

Labor Leader Calls for Violence Against Republicans at Obama Speech
Jimmy Hoffa Jr. warming up crowd in Detroit before Obama gives Labor Day Speech.
"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war,"
"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,"

Dumb Republican
Even dumber is that a local TV station was there taping the whole thing...
Police said the cameras were taken “to protect the constituents.” A local television station, however, was allowed to videotape the meeting and the brazen move by Chabot and the cops.

Missoula Reinforces Its Anti-Business Reputation
Before members of the public spoke, Councilman Haines voiced his strong opposition and had a spat with Mayor John Engen.
"This has got to be one of the dumbest things I've seen us do in a long time," said Haines, who noted most media outlets are corporately owned.
Mayor Engen disagreed: "I'll suggest this is probably one of the smartest things you all have done in a long time."
Citizen John Tesdal was also against the measure:
John Tesdal, though, said the "feel-good activism" has no place in Missoula. He feared it would hurt local business that are corporations, such as the Good Food Store, Portico Real Estate and the Kettlehouse Brewing Co., one of his favorites.
"The proposed referendum in my opinion is really anti-business," Tesdal said
I have always known Missoula is governed by ignorant Liberals but this takes the cake. What business would ever want to start up or relocate to Missoula knowing how anti-corporate and anti-business the leaders of the community are? Do these people have any idea at all what message they are sending?
"Corporations do not bleed or feel pain. They can't die in an unsafe workplace," Watson said.
"This is a question of whether American democracy itself can beat back a corporate takeover," Hill said.
"I think this is one of the most important issues we as a country face in trying to preserve what democracy we have," Stranahan said.
These three Liberal activist women along with there supporters are against corporations and businesses having the right to pay for political ads based on the first amendment. However, they fully support the right of unions and their political and non-profit organizations the right to pay for political ads.
It makes me wonder if the Missoula Liberals really want economic prosperity. They seem to do everything they can to drive it away. Or they are just too dumb by thinking it comes delivered in pixie dust on unicorns.

Democrats Attacked for Compromising
These Liberals are not very supportive of their leaders being compromisers.

I'd Hate to See a Bad Obama Economy
"because we were able to, under President Obama’s leadership, turn this economy around"She further claimed there has been 15 months of growth which is a turnaround from an economy that was losing jobs when Obama took over.
It was an amazing thing to watch and hear and made me wonder what a bad economy under Obama would be like.

The Palin Emails - Weird Obsession by the MSM and the Left
This obsession with Palin tells you a lot. They are so afraid of her and a angry that she is not allowing them to destroy her. No matter what they throw at her, she keeps coming back stronger and stronger.
Has there been any other Politician of whom they have been so ridiculously obsessed with destroying??
There is only one logical answer. They are deathly afraid of her and her ability to lead Conservatives and Moderates to a landslide defeat of the biggest failure of a President, BHO.

Harry Reid & MSM Trying to take Credit for Rush's Ebay Record
The "phony soldier" letter Harry Reid and 41 Democrat Senators, including Baucus and Tester, sent to the Clear Channel CEO that Rush put up for bid on Ebay has made $2,100,000 for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Rush has matched that amount which give the MCLEF a grand total of $4,200,000!
The amazing thing now is Harry Reid and the MSM are trying to give the Democrats credit for raising the money!
Reid said this on the floor of the Senate: (emphasis mine)
"But without qualification Mark May, the owner of the network that has Rush Limbaugh, and Rush Limbaugh should know that this letter that they're auctioning is going to be something that raises money for a worthwhile cause. I don't know what we could do more important than helping to ensure that children of our fallen soldiers and police officers who have fallen in the line of duty have the opportunity for their children to have a good education," he said.
The closing of this ABC News blog is breathtaking:
The bidding ends at 1:00p.m. No mater what, Democrats are going to make a ton of money for a charity off their political vitriol.
So in typical Liberal fashion, they are trying to take credit for something without having to "pay" for it themselves.
Come on Reid, Baucus and Tester, cowboy up and show your support by matching the $2,100,000 like Rush did!

Place Your Bid
As of this post, the high bid is $40,2000. All of the money will go to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation which Rush has been a board member for many years.
Rush also issued the following challenge to the 41 Senators who signed the letter.
Every dollar raised, however much it ends up being, is going to go to Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. And I would like to issue this challenge to Senator Reid and the 41 senators who signed his letter. You say you support the military. You say you're big, and you think it's patriotic, and that I was unpatriotic. Well, I would like for each of you, Senator Reid, and the 40 Senators who signed, to match whatever the winning bid is. Show us your support for the US military by all 41 of you pro-military people, Democrats in the Senate, match whatever the winning bid is and send that amount to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.
Let's see what Max and Tester do.

From the Mouths of Babes...
I explained my point of view on the subject and then we sat down at the computer and did a little bit of research. We found the following information on Whitehouse.gov explaning Bush's position on SCHIP.
Guess what she discovered with just a quick google search? That Bush actually supports the reauthorization of SCHIP and a 20% increase in funding and wants to maintain the original purpose of the program of targeting the dollars to poor children.
We, she actually, also discovered the real and truthful reasons Bush vetoed the bill.
MYTH #2: Cost is the only reason for President Bush's veto threat.
- FACT: There are numerous problems with Congress's SCHIP bill. In addition to raising spending by $35 to $50 billion, the legislation:
- Turns a program meant to help poor children into one that covers children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 a year.
- Would move millions of American children who now have private health insurance into government-run health care.
- Is an incremental step toward the Democrats' goal of a government-run health care system.
- Raises taxes on working Americans.
- Relies on a budget gimmick that drops SCHIP funding by almost 80 percent in year six, masking future deficits and ultimately resulting in a choice between higher taxes or forcing millions of children to lose health insurance.
- Creates new funding schemes inviting states to overspend their budgets and shift health care costs to the Federal government by using SCHIP funding to offset state Medicaid spending.
- Provides incentives to states to relax protections against enrolling ineligible individuals, including illegal immigrants.
MYTH #3: President Bush is wrong in claiming the Senate SCHIP bill would cover children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 per year (400 percent of the Federal poverty level).
- FACT: The Senate bill grandfathers in New York at a higher SCHIP match rate than the rest of the country – allowing SCHIP to cover children in some households with incomes of up to $83,000 per year.
After reading and talking about what we discovered, she asked me, "Dad, do democrats think we're all stupid?" I asked her why she asked that. She answered by saying "Well, it's not that hard to find out why Bush vetoed the bill and why would they have a kid who has more than most people whining about how his parents can't afford their own health insurance?"
I then asked her "What do you think?" She said "Yep, they think we're all stupid."
I think she nailed it.

Did Rush Call US Soldier a Suicide Bomber? No.
Media Matters , the MSM and the Left continue to attack Rush and lie and misrepresent his words. The latest is the claim that Rush called Brian McGough, the soldier in the Vote Vets.org ad, a suicide bomber. Media Matters actually quotes Rush correctly. (emphasis mine)
You know, this is such a blatant use of a valiant combat veteran, lying to him about what I said, then strapping those lies to his belt, sending him out via the media in a TV ad to walk into as many people as he can walk into.
This man will always be a hero to this country with everyone. Whoever pumped him full of these lies about what I said and embarrassed him with this ad has betrayed him. They're not hurting me, they're betraying this soldier. Now, unless he actually believes what he's saying, in which case it's just so unfortunate and sad when the truth of what I said is right out there to be learned.
So where exactly does Rush call Mr. McGough a Suicide Bomber??? Sure, he uses the analogy of a suicide bomber to describe what VoteVets.org/MoveOn.org etc. are doing to this valiant combat veteran. But he never calls him a suicide bomber like Mr. McGough himself claims.
“So, Rush Limbaugh called me a ‘suicide bomber,’ said the anti-war veteran. "More slander from the high and mighty sitting in his chair nursing the boils on his ass. I can assure you that I am no suicide bomber and that I can think for myself.’’So, Wulfgar, you claim Rush called Brian McGough a suicide bomber. I ask you to show me the evidence.

Dems Must March in Lock Step, Or Else!
A month after Baird, a Democrat from Washington state, switched his views on Iraq and embraced President Bush’s surge strategy, he remains persona non grata in many circles. There is no room in the Democrat Party these days for difference of opinion! He must be discredited and driven off.At home, he is besieged by angry protesters and hostile ads.
I give Rep. Baird a lot of credit because he had to know that he would be attacked by the extreme left wing that influences his party and tried to unseat Joe Leiberman.
“There were a few who felt I undermined the message, but I could really care less,” he said Tuesday. “Some were mad at me that I was going off message. In fact, even some of the people who had been pro-war said that to me. ... They were so quickly jumping to criticism of someone with a different position. It’s unfortunate that we’re being driven by such an extreme wing right now.”
Baird argued that the anti-war faction of his party allowed no room for alternate approaches.Hang in there Mr. Baird. Your doing the right thing.
“They are driving the agenda far too much, and it’s the wrong direction for this country,” he said. “We all agree that we can’t stay forever there, but how we withdraw and when we withdraw and why we withdraw matters a great deal to our own security, the legacy we leave in Iraq and our public image internationally.”

The Left is Really Upset with the Petraeus Amendment
To express the sense of the Senate that General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq, deserves the full support of the Senate and strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the United States Armed Forces.
This is in response to the Moveon.org campaign against General Petraeus last week and is simply an official expression of support of the General who is commanding our troops in Iraq. It is beyond me that there would even be Senators that would vote Nay on this, all of whom are Democrats.
It's very illuminating to see how influenced these Democrats are by the Moveon and "Kos Krowd" and cannot see how they look to the vast majority of the American population.
I give credit to Baucus and Tester for voting in support of General Patraeus. Clinton is clearly influenced by Moveon and the "Kos Krowd" and Obama is too big a weenie and coward to even vote.
This will come back to haunt both Clinton and Obama when the majority of the people start paying attention to the Presidential election.

More Fund Raising Troubles for Clinton
Anyway, it seems another fund-raising "bundler", William Danielczyk, founder of a Washington-area private-equity firm, reimbursed many of his family and employees for donations giving to the Clinton campaign. One woman, Pamala Layton, is on record having donated $4600, the maximum allowed.
But the 37-year-old Ms. Layton says she and her husband were reimbursed by her husband's boss for the donations. "It wasn't personal money. It was all corporate money," Mrs. Layton said outside her home here. "I don't even like Hillary. I'm a Republican."
Of course, Clinton's campaign is unaware and will return any money that wasn't given from any donor's own funds.
I find it very hard to believe that the Clinton campaign is oblivious to the practice of these fund-raising "bundlers". They are either naive or are encouraging it, both of which are not good attributes in a Presidential candidate.Asked about the donations bundled by Mr. Danielczyk, Mrs. Clinton's campaign said yesterday it would return the $9,200 donated by Mr. and Mrs. Layton.
Howard Wolfson, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton, said: "These allegations are troubling and we will again ask each of the individuals solicited by Mr. Danielczyk to affirm that their contributions were given with their own funds." Mr. Wolfson said the campaign will return any contributions that didn't come from the donor's own money.
Mr. Wolfson also said the campaign provides information to its donors that "clearly spell out that donations must be from personal funds."
We are 15 months away from the election and these pesky fund-raising scandals are starting to pop up.
What's next??
