Looks Like Those Crazy Birthers Were Right

Wow!  Looks like those crazy Birthers were right!  Several old Obama biographies have surfaced that say Obama was born in Kenya.  One from his literary agent.

The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.
It also promotes Obama's anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White--which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

Now, of course, the literary agent is saying it's a mistake.  Now we are to believe that Obama and the agent had no idea of the "mistake"  from 1991 to 2007.  Obama never looked at or proofed his bio?  The literary agent assumed Obama was born in Keyna?  The first thing anybody does when there is anything written about them, is look it up and read it.  If his birthplace was a mistake, he would have contacted the agent and had it corrected in the next issue of the publication.  To find the same "born in Kenya" in 2007 seems to make it clear that it wasn't a mistake.

The problem with the agent saying it was their mistake is that they actually require the authors to submit their own bios. This makes more sense because Obama was a nobody back in 1991 and the agent wouldn't have written his bio.  So it appears Obama himself wrote the bio with the "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" line.  Anybody with any intelligence and common sense knows he wrote the bio back in 1991.  I wonder when the original submission in Obama's own hand will show up?

Shows you have biased the MSM is when they were unable to vet this information. Funny how they were able to find stuff on Romney from high school though.

Dumb Republican

Ohio Republican, Steve Chabot, had cell phones and cameras confiscated at a town hall meeting the other day so as not to have any embarrassing Youtube videos posted.  This is just plain dumb.  Now he's in the news with the embarrassing news that he had phones and cameras confiscated.  Just plain stupid.

Even dumber is that a local TV station was there taping the whole thing...

Police said the cameras were taken “to protect the constituents.” A local television station, however, was allowed to videotape the meeting and the brazen move by Chabot and the cops.

Consumer Confidence Crashes to Lowest Level Since 1980 - Obamanomics

Consumer confidence has dropped to the lowest level since 1980 - the last full year of Carter's term.  As I have said before, Obama is going to be Carter's second term.  Jimmy Carter is was the worst President in history, and now it looks like Obama is working hard to take over that distinction.  While the MSM and "scholars" will never acknowledge Carter and Obama as being complete failures, the evidence in how they run the country and their ability to convince the voters to elect them again, are what really matter.

Today's report is further evidence that Liberal ideology is a complete failure.  2012 cannot get here soon enough.

The Palin Emails - MSM Has Egg on Their Face

Well, the Palin emails greatly disappointed the MSM.  They were desperately trying to find something that would verify their characature of her but instead, the emails show Palin as an engaged and intelligent governor.  They also give an inside glimpse of who she is - the exact same person she is in public.  A regular person who could easily be my, or your, next door neighbor.  Not an elite, Ivy League educated snob.

It's hilarious seeing how quickly the MSM dropped the email story after making it such a huge deal on Friday.  If anything it made Palin much more popular and stronger.  Thanks MSM.

The Palin Emails - Weird Obsession by the MSM and the Left

The MSM is so obsessed with Sarah Palin, they can't wait to comb through her emails from when she was Governor of Alaska.  The MSM have even sent people to Alaska to take delivery of hard copies of the emails and the UK Guardian, the Washington Post and New York Times are asking their readers to act as investigators and find incremental conversations. They are breathlessly scanning each and every email and updating their websites by the minute with new copies for people to read and comment on.  

This obsession with Palin tells you a lot.  They are so afraid of her and a angry that she is not allowing them to destroy her.  No matter what they throw at her, she keeps coming back stronger and stronger.

Has there been any other Politician of whom they have been so ridiculously obsessed with destroying??

There is only one logical answer.  They are deathly afraid of her and her ability to lead Conservatives and Moderates to a landslide defeat of the biggest failure of a President, BHO.

Obama's Third "Summer of Recovery"

With today's horrible economic report, even the staunchest Liberals have got to start admitting Obama's and his policies are a complete failure.  I know they won't because they are completely blind to their ideology but it is as clear as day in front of us every day.  Even the MSM is starting to crack a bit as they see they can no longer hold up the lies of the promised recovery.

The frightening thing is Obama seems completely unphased about what is happening and is doubling down on his proven failed policies.  This can lead to only one conclusion - he is destroying this country's economy on purpose.  Government stimulus does not nor has it ever worked.  It is akin to taking water from the deep end of a swimming pool and pouring it into the shallow end.  The water does not rise.

2012 cannot get here soon enough.  I pray the GOP nominates a candidate with some guts who will say what needs to be said and is strong enough with withstand the attacks from the Left and their MSM partners.

In Defense of Rush and O'Reilly

Media Matters, the MSM and the Libs are attacking two iconic conservative voices, Rush and O'Reilly. Media Matters are masters at taking comments out of context and twisting what was said. I listened to both of the programs, in context, in question before the controversies and found nothing wrong with either.

I am posting YouTube clips of both Rush and O'Reilly defending themselves because they say it mcuh better than I.

Next is Rush on his Radio Program. Yes, he edited a minute and change out of the controversial segment which was not relevant to the topic. So what?


Nice try kids, but these guys are professionals and should go all out and defend themselves when a loony group like Media Matters tries to smear them.

Move On Folks are Out Of Touch

The Liberal Looneys out there loved the Move On/New Your Times "General Betray Us" ad however most Americans did not. According to the latest Rasmussen Poll, only 23% approved while 58% disapproved of the ad.

Self-identified liberals were evenly divided—45% approve and 39% disapprove. However, only 19% of moderate voters approve while 62% disapprove.

Forty-seven percent (47%) of all adults say that “stunts like the MoveOn.org ad” hurt the cause they believe in. Only 12% believe they help the cause while 17% say there is no impact. Twenty-four percent (24%) are not sure. Again, political liberals are divided with 27% saying they help and 32% taking the opposite view. Fifty percent (50%) of moderates and 57% of conservatives say that these sorts of events hurt the cause the group is trying to promote.

I think it's interesting that they can't see beyond their arrogance and condescension and continue to pull stunts such as this. It just does not play well with most Americans.

Golden Boy Tester Seems to have Taken Tainted Money

It seems that the Montana Left's Golden Boy, Jon Tester, is getting himself into trouble already. According the today's Missoulian, he accepted about $4000 from people linked to the now disgraced criminal and powerful Democratic fund raiser, Norman Hsu.

Records show Tester received six donations last summer and fall from people identified in the Wall Street Journal as Hsu associates. Tester received a total of $3,750 in Hsu-related donations, records show, including $2,000 from two members of the Paw family on Sept. 18, 2006.

It may turn out that the link is just purely coincidental. It seems that the Democrats who received money directly from or just linked to Hsu are keeping the money.

Tester, however, is not alone among candidates who received money merely “linked” to Hsu and who are now either keeping the money or waiting to see if the donations are illegal.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has chosen to keep money Hsu merely helped raise. Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill received more than $18,000 in donations associated with Hsu, including some from the Paw family. She has chosen to keep the money unless it has been determined to be illegal.

I wonder what Democrats and the MSM would be saying right now if Hsu was a Republican fund raiser. I think we all know the answer.

It might help Tester to remember this...

Problematic campaign contributions played a role in Tester’s 2006 election. Tester unseated Republican Sen. Conrad Burns amid a scandal involving Burns’ receipt of more than $150,000 in donations from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, his clients and associates. Months after the criticism, Burns either returned or donated the money.

A Tale of Two Scandals

Two scandals on two US Senators broke yesterday. One was on Republican Larry Craig which I'm sure everybody has heard about. The other was on Democrat and leading Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Senator Craig was busted and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with soliciting gay sex in a airport restroom from an undercover cop. Craig is a Republican who has voted against "gay rights" including supporting his state's ban on gay marriage. It certainly smells of hypocracy and effectively "outs" the man as being gay. Liberals and the MSM are having a lot of fun with it and when you google Larry Craig as of this morning, there are over 1800 news stories about this scandal.

Senator Clinton's presidential campaign was hit with accusations of breaking campaign finance laws by the Wall Street Journal. It was discovered that one of the biggest contributers to Hillary's campaign is by a family of very modest means living in San Fransisco. They have managed to donate a total of $200,000 to her campaign.

Interestingly, the Paw family donations seem to be closely tied to wealthy Clinton supporter and businessman Normon Hsu.

The Paws' political donations closely track donations made by Norman Hsu, a wealthy New York businessman in the apparel industry who once listed the Paw home as his address, according to public records. Mr. Hsu is one of the top fund-raisers for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign. He has hosted or co-hosted some of her most prominent money-raising events.

In addition the Paw family seems to not be terribly interested in politics until recently.

William and Alice Paw are of Chinese descent. The entire family got their Social Security cards in California in 1982, according to state records. All but one of the Paws registered to vote as "nonpartisan." A San Mateo County elections official said that members of the Paw family vote "sporadically."

No one in the Paw family had ever given a campaign contribution before the 2004 presidential election, according to campaign-finance reports. Then, in July 2004, five members of the family contributed a total of $3,600 to the presidential campaign of Sen. John Kerry, the Massachusetts Democrat. Five of the checks were dated July 27, 2004. About the same time, Mr. Hsu made his first donations to a political candidate, contributing the maximum amount allowed by law to Mr. Kerry in two separate checks, on July 21, 2004, and on Aug. 6.

Even though it appears that campaign finance laws were clearly broken, the Clinton Campaign is planning on keeping the money. I am sure the MSM will support this while keeping up the aggressive reporting and distraction of Larry Craig's problems.

When you google Hillary Clinton Donor you get a total of 33 stories on the scandal.

Which is worse, a dirty old man trying to get a little in a restroom or a Presidential candidate breaking campaign finance laws to the tune of $200,000? According to the MSM, it's clearly the dirty old man.

Global Warming Denier!

Jeff Jacoby from the Boston Globe wrote a great column about Newsweek's August 13 cover story on Global Warming denial. Newsweek takes the easy route and accuses the "deniers" or "doubters" as being aligned with big coal and big oil in an effort to discredit them. Their story is an weak attempt to discredit anybody who doubts that man causes global warming. Interestingly, they bring up the reporting they did in 1975 when they claimed global cooling was the threat to our planet but they quickly dismiss it because there wasn't near the "consensus" there is today regarding global warming.

Mr. Jacoby takes them on Newsweek citing their doomsday reporting on global cooling in 1975.

Then, the magazine reported that scientists were "almost unanimous" in believing that the looming Big Chill would mean a decline in food production, with some warning that "the resulting famines could be catastrophic." Moreover, it said, "the evidence in support of these predictions" -- everything from shrinking growing seasons to increased North American snow cover -- had "begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it."

He also goes into the their tactic of discrediting "doubters" as bought and paid for lackeys of industry.

anyone skeptical of the claim that human activity is causing global warming is painted as a bought-and-paid-for lackey of the coal and oil industries -- so strident and censorious? Why the relentless labeling of those who point out weaknesses in the global-warming models as "deniers," or agents of the "denial machine," or deceptive practitioners of "denialism?" Wouldn't it be more effective to answer the challengers, some of whom are highly credentialed climate scientists in their own right, with scientific data and arguments, instead of snide insinuations of venality and deceit? Do Newsweek and Begley really believe that everyone who dissents from the global-warming doomsaying does so in bad faith?

My favorite paragraph touches on the scientific process and how humans causing global warming is still only just a hypothesis.

Anthropogenic global warming is a scientific hypothesis, not an article of religious or ideological dogma. Skepticism and doubt are entirely appropriate in the realm of science, in which truth is determined by evidence, experimentation, and observation, not by consensus or revelation. Yet when it comes to global warming, dissent is treated as heresy -- as a pernicious belief whose exponents must be shamed, shunned, or silenced.

He also talks about how many who support this hypothesis want to have debate shut down and silence those who dispute that human activity causes global warming.

Some environmentalists and commentators have suggested that global-warming "denial" be made a crime, much as Holocaust denial is in some countries. Others have proposed that climate-change dissidents be prosecuted in Nuremberg-style trials. The Weather Channel's Heidi Cullen has suggested that television meteorologists be stripped of their American Meteorological Society certification if they dare to question predictions of catastrophic global warming.

This made me think. Because of their intense desire to shut down the debate on what is clearly only a hypothesis they are not terribly confident that this hypothesis can withstand serious and thoughtful scrutiny. In other words, if they were 100% confident that humans caused global warming, they should welcome any and all debate and evidence for or against it, knowing that when all evidence is in, it will be proven to be a fact.

Karl Rove

Just the fact the Liberals, Democrats, and the MSM hate and despise Karl Rove, makes me like and respect him even more.
