I Thought Democrats Were Going to Reform Lobbying

It was my understanding throughout the campaign that, should the Democrats regain power in the House and Senate, they were going to clean up and reform the influence of lobbyists.

Then I find this article about former Democrat aids and members rushing to new lobbying posts in Washington.

Oh yeah, they meant reform the influence of Conservative lobbyists. Conservative lobbying efforts are shady and dirty while Liberal lobbying efforts are clean and pure.

It's going to turn out to be the same old thing. Lobbyists throw a lot of money around which is hard to resist to many Congressmen and Senators. There will continue to be digressions and scandals involving members of both parties.

Regardless, like I have said before, they won and are doing what they have the right and power to do all they are doing.
