Presidential Toilet Humor

Montana Liberals are all bent out of shape and "offended" over the Obama Presidential Library outhouse that has made a few appearances in the Bitterroot and the GOP convention in Missoula.

Well, I did a little google search on George Bush Toilet and George Bush Outhouse and below are a few of the pictures I found. Classy stuff, right?

Not in US but the HuffPo gleefully published it

DOE Solar Decathlon Delayed Due to Rain and Clouds

Well the Department of Energy is sponsoring a Solar Decathlon that started today in Washington where teams of college students are competing for $100,000 by showing how solar energy can save money and use less energy.

Unfortunately, the weather is cloudy and rainy which is wreaking havoc on the competition.

Oh, and here's the entry from the City College of New York Team.  It only cost $450,000 (cost includes parts and materials only since the students did the labor) and has the potential to produce 8 kilowatts of energy - but not today 'cause of the cold and rainy day.

Liberalism on display.  Support of a failed technology to combat the phony issue of human caused climate change.  And spending $450,000 to win $100,000.

I'm happy Mother Nature has a sense of humor and decided to rain on their silly and wasteful competition.

A Political Parable

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like many others her age, she considered herself a liberal Democrat, very much in favor of the redistribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a staunch Republican.

One day she challenged her father on both his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the addition of more welfare programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father.

He responded by asking her how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load, constantly studying and had little time to go out and party like other people she knew.

Her father listened and then asked, "How is your friend Audrey doing?" She replied, "Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus, and college for her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties, and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes."

Her wise father asked his daughter, "Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your 4.0 GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA."

The daughter, visibly shocked, angrily fired back, "That wouldn't be fair! I have worked really hard for my grades. I've invested a lot of time and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off! She's got what she deserves!!"

The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, "Watch yourself, you are starting to sound like a Republican!"

Andy Endorses Hillary for Democrat Presidential Candidate

I officially endorse Hillary Rodham-Clinton as the 2008 Democrat Candidate for President of the United States.

Why, you may ask. Well, I think she would be the best possible candidate for the Democrats to nominate. She served as C0-President from 1992-2000, the most prosperous and peaceful period in the history of the world. She is Pro-Choice except when it comes to education where she is full fledged supportive of the teacher's Unions who we all know do everything possible to better the education of our children. She wants Socialized Health Care just like Canada which ought to stop those pesky Canadians from coming into our country for their care.

Although she says she would oppose any tax increases on the middle class, we know it's just a rouse to have the middle class vote for her. Just like Bill did when he ran on no taxes on the middle class but had to raise them the first year he was in office. So we know Hillary, as Co-President then, will do the same. We will need to pay for that Socialized Health Care somehow.

She is also a brilliant business woman especially when you consider her Whitewater real estate deal and how she made $100,000 the first and only time in a cattle futures investment.

I am most impressed with what she has accomplished during her six years in the Senate.
Her Senate Record is so spectacular, I feel it necessary to list her accomplishments.

• Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site

• Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor

• Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall

• Name courthouse after James L. Watson

• Designate August 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day

• Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day

• Congratulate the Syracuse University Orange Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.

• Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship

• Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda

• Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death

• Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty.

• Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11

• Pay for city projects in response to 9/11

• Assist landmine victims in other countries

• Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care

• Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the Wilderness Preservation System

This is an impressive set of credentials for a Presidential Candidate.

I'm thinking any Republican candidate should wait until 2016 before even trying since there is no way that we can even win with the "smartest woman in the world" running.
