The Kos Kooks Think Cheney or Rumsfeld Ordered Pat Tillman Killed

I don't normally spend much time looking at the Daily Kos, but I did stumble on this little gem this morning when I was over at Little Green Footballs.

"It appears that for a time Pat Tillman bought into the propaganda like so many green fresh-faced kids do. When he found that it was a lie and wrote to others including his family about the atrocities he was seeing on a daily basis and being forced to participate in by his commanding officers, he was seen as a threat to the whole Iraq War Lie told by Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, Powell, and Rice. Pat was a famous enlistee who would find an audience and he was finding his own voice and it scared the daylights out of the Administration liars. "

"So when the letters home detailing the day to day horrors he was being asked to inflict on innocent civilians showed some consistency and gravity and when his conversations to others in the squad started to raise eyebrows, he was ordered killed to keep his mouth shut. That is what this country has become and it is to our collective shame that his death speaks. The US Congress needs to speak for all the dead through Pat Tillman with a thorough investigation, seeking conviction of all who sought to silence him through death. "

I am sure those on the left of the Blogosphere take this very seriously. They're judgment is clouded by their hate of George Bush and his administration.

Approval Poll: Democrat Congress 24%, President Bush 33%

Democrats are finding it difficult according to this Gallup poll. I think the problem is they are spending too much time hating and attacking President Bush and VP Cheney. According to this recent report from the White House, the Dems have had over 300 investigations and 600 oversight hearings in the past 100 days. Give it a rest, folks! Or better yet, keep it up. It will only make your numbers worse,

Americans are tired of these attacks. Unfortunately, the Republican leadership are a bunch of spineless nobodies right now.

The party that can come up with a leader that can inspire the population has the table set for winning the Presidency. I don't see anybody on the Left or on the Right right now who will be capable of doing this. I would like to think Fred Thompson can be this leader but I don't know much about him yet.

Who's Coming To Support Tester?

The President of the United States and the Vice President of the United States were both in Montana this week to show their support for Conrad Burns' Senatorial campaign.

Who's coming to help support Jon Tester this week? How about the last two Democrat Presidential candidates, Al Gore and John Kerry or the last two Democrat VP candidates, Joe Leiberman and John Edwards? They almost won their last campaigns.

Maybe Bill Clinton or even Hillary? Bill kinda did well in MT in his Presidential elections and Hillary might in 2008.

Perhaps Howard Dean can do some hollering and fire up the faithful.

Maybe Ed Kennedy can sober up for a night and fly out.

The race is tightening and looks like it's slipping away from Tester. He needs some help from the leading Liberals in the Democrat party.

Why don't they come to help Jon Tester? He's fading fast.

Two Great Leaders to Visit Montana!

VP Dick Cheney was in Kalispell last night to stump for Burns. President Bush is in Billings tonight! Seems that the GOP base if fired up! (Thanks again to John Kerry)

So much for the theory that the Republican Party has written off Conrad Burns.

Cheney was awesome last night. Here is some of what he said.

"The stakes of this campaign are high," Cheney said. "The stakes are high for America's prosperity. The stakes are high for America's security, and the stakes are high for America's families."

He said voters had the choice between "paying higher taxes or lower taxes," and "determining whether this government will remain strong and resolute on the war on terror or falls into confusion, doubts and indecision."

"This country must reject any strategy of resignation or defeatism in the war on terror,"

"It's a mixed bag in the Senate," Cheney said. "One of the senators I like and respect the most is Conrad Burns. I look forward to swearing him in for another term in the U.S. Senate."

And one of my favorites in reference to John Kerry's recent remarks.

"Of course, now Senator Kerry says he was just making a joke, and he botched it up," Cheney told the crowd. "I guess we didn't get the nuance. He was for the joke before he was against it."

What's So Wrong About A Little Torture?

Liberal Democrats and liberal Republicans are running around acting like torture is something new. As if Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld invented it. Give me a break! It's an important tool to gather information from our enemies.

Torture has been around forever and the CIA and other US intelligence agencies have always used it to get information. What's so wrong with some "aggressive interrogation" anyway? If we capture an enemy combatant, spy, or sympathizer who we think has some important information that could save American lives, why not make them uncomfortable with sleep deprivation and the like. If needed, bring on the water boarding. If that doesn't work, break his fingers. Do whatever it takes.

These are people who choose to fight and kill us. They are not innocent victims. They fully know and understand the consequences if they get captured. Our military and CIA need to have the interrogation tools available to get important intelligence information from these people.
