Here is what Obama thinks economics is.

"On Tuesday at the State of the Union, I laid out my vision for how we move forward," President Obama said at a campaign event in Las Vegas, Nevada. "I laid out a blueprint for an economy that's built to last, that has a firm foundation. Where we're making stuff and selling stuff and moving it around and UPS drivers are dropping things off everywhere."

"That's the economy we want. An economy built on American manufacturing, with more good jobs and more products made here in the United States of America," he also said.

Democrat's Failure to Compromise Cause Failure of Deficit Reduction Supercommittee

Democrats refused to compromise and insist on significantly increasing taxes on the very people who are capable of bringing us out of Obama's disaster of an economy.

Anybody with any intelligence and knows anything about simple economics and history knows that raising taxes on the producers, will only make things worse.  Republicans insisted on the responsible solution of  cutting taxes and spending.   It really is simple and it has worked every time it has been tried.

I am proud that the Republicans on the supercommittee had the courage to stick to their principals and refuse to compromise with the Democrats recipe for failure of a plan.  My sincere thank you to every Republican on the committee!

Don't give in to the parasites and looters.

MSM Finally Uncovers the Liberal Lie About the Rich's Tax Burden

Shockingly, the MSM (the AP), actually did a fact check on Obama's claim that the rich don't pay their "fair share" of taxes.  While I have known this for decades (simple common sense), Liberals and the MSM seem to have always thought otherwise.  Somehow the rich got rich off the backs of the poor and middle class and don't pay their "fair share" of taxes. Actually they knew but needed to fan the flames (lie) of class warfare to their constituents in order to gain power and get elected.

On the top right of this blog, is a breakdown of who pays taxes.  It clearly shows who pays their fair share of taxes in the United States and who are the parasites.

I'm pleased that somebody in the MSM actually decided to practice journalism and did some research on who actually pays taxes.  Here are the relevant paragraphs from the article...

This year, households making more than $1 million will pay an average of 29.1 percent of their income in federal taxes, including income taxes, payroll taxes and other taxes, according to the Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank. 

Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 will pay an average of 15 percent of their income in federal taxes. 

Lower-income households will pay less. For example, households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will pay an average of 12.5 percent of their income in federal taxes. Households making between $20,000 and $30,000 will pay 5.7 percent.

It is refreshing to see another bald faced Liberal lie be exposed by the MSM.  The rich pay more than their "fair share" of taxes.  The middle class and the poor should be thanking them every single day for their contributions to the greatness of this country.

Mr. Laffer expands on that quote which describes perfectly why we are in the terrible economic situation of Obamanomics.

Government taxes cigarettes to stop people from smoking, not to get them to smoke. Government fines speeders so they won't speed, not to encourage them to drive faster. And yet contrary to common sense, it seems perfectly natural to some people that government would tax people who work or companies that are successful only to give that money to people who don't work and to bail out losing companies. The thought never crosses their minds that these policies are the very reason why our economy is in such bad shape.
