Extreme Muslims become violent after the Pope quoted criticism of Islam and the Prophet Mohammad by 14th century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus, who wrote that everything Mohammad brought was evil and inhuman, "such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."
They even killed an Italian nun.
I don't pretend to have an understanding of the Muslim faith but they sure seem to have a short fuse when it comes to criticism. It seems to me that they are just waiting for an opportunity to be offended so they can riot, destroy and kill.
It worries me that there are people like this out there.
Update:
Muslims should react to terrorism and acts of violence in the name of their religion with the same vigor that they reacted to Salmon Rushdi, the Cartoons, and the Pope's speech. Unfortunately, they don't.
