Read this without getting upset

I heard about this today, it's from Michael Yon: Online Magazine, a blogger reporting from Iraq. It sounds too evil to be true and maybe it isn't but after reading much of his recent entries in his Blog, I believe it to be true.

The official reported that on a couple of occasions in Baqubah, al Qaeda invited to lunch families they wanted to convert to their way of thinking. In each instance, the family had a boy, he said, who was about 11-years-old. As LT David Wallach interpreted the man's words, I saw Wallach go blank and silent. He stopped interpreting for a moment. I asked Wallach, "What did he say?" Wallach said that at these luncheons, the families were sat down to eat. And then their boy was brought in with his mouth stuffed. The boy had been baked. Al Qaeda served the boy to his family.

This, along with their (al Qaeda) beheadings and Saddam's evil atrocities is not reason enough to wipe these monsters out? I'm sure most of the Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Pilots fighting in Iraq right now would love to kill one of these al Qaedas.

Most importantly, these are the people we will leave to take over Iraq and attack the US if we leave and pull out before the job is done.

Is what supposedly happened in Abu Ghraib or Gitmo even come close to what these people do to other people? I don't think so.

By the way, I couldn't think of anything for the rest of the day but to get home and give my 12 year old son a big hug and kiss.

  1. Boy, the silence from the left of the blogosphere is deafening, isn't it Andy?

If a complete village was wiped out by our guys, you'd hear them squawk about it for weeks, probably longer.

But if Al Qaeda wipes out a complete village, then you don't see anything, or read anything about it from the MSM media let alone the left blogosphere because simply it would justify Bush' position on this war. Can't have that sort of stuff out when there's an election year coming, can you?

Of course, people like Mark Tokarski will blame such incidents on the Bush Co and the military. After all, we're the reasons why terrorism is on the rise. Americans are simply EVIL!111!! /snark

BTW, nice to see you back.

  2. The silence is deafening as they say.

Thanks, it's nice to be back.

I even got banned from Montana Netroots today! They didn't like the way I politely debated them.

So all my comments have been erased and I can't add any new ones.

  3. That's humorous. I haven't been silent at all, and neither was Jeff at Speedkill. Or are we just hearing what we want to hear 'round these parts ...?

  4. And as I suspected, you doubt it...

    Surprise, surprise..

Or are we just hearing what we want to hear 'round these parts ...?

    Only if you do..;)

  5. Alrighty then, 'Kristine'. I've given very good reasons for doubting (not Yon's tale, but) the actions 'reported'. Howza 'bout you give one single reason why they should be believed?

    Got anything?

  6. Wulfgar,
please reread my comment to Andy.
Where have I mentioned anything about the "baked boy" incident? Where?
I was specifically talking about the total wipeout of the villagers. Even I believe that there's something fishy about that story of the boy being baked. Do I believe that Al Qaeda is capable of such horrendous atrocities? You damn right I do. Don't you? Iraqis are getting kidnapped all the time over there and are either told to convert to become future terrorists or either they or their families will suffer the consequences. As far as the wipeout of the villagers is concerned, no I don't have any proof whatsoever, but neither do you have proof that this incident didn't happen as you or I are not there to witness it. Michael Yon does happen to be there and has taken pics of the dead bodies. Until someone from the Left has other proof to show a different story, I'm all ears.

    Sincerely
    'Kristine' aka Kristine
