Congratulations to the Griz who defeated the Cats on Saturday in a hard fought 13-7 victory. The day was a perfect day for football and the crowd at Washington-Grizzly was a record breaking 24,018!
I got goose bumps when the F-16 Fighter Jets from Great Falls flew over the stadium during the National Anthem.
The Griz were seeded number 2 and get home field throughout the playoffs and play McNeese State this Saturday.
And as a bonus, the Cats made the playoffs as an at-large selection and are hosting Furman next week. So the State of Montana has two 1-AA playoff games this Saturday. What a great accomplishment for Montana football.
