I want to formally thank Senator Conrad Burns for voting in favor of the Detainee Law that grants CIA interrogators immunity for US criminal prosecutions. This law, along with the Patriot Act, which Burns also voted for and still supports, are critical tools in protecting the US from further terrorist actions. Conrad understands the real world and that there are bad guys out there wanting to Americans and eliminate our way of life.
Jon Tester, on the other hand, apparently is more concerned with terrorists rights then protecting US citizens. He would rather tie the hands of our CIA and restrict and prohibit aggressive interrogation and repeal the Patriot Act. He is either very naive or ignorant to the threats of radical Islamists who want our way of life wiped off the face of the planet.
People like Jon Testor are dangerous to our freedom and liberty.
We need people like Conrad Burns, who is willing to do the difficult and right thing, to protect us.
